What is FLUX 3?
FLUX 3 is Black Forest Labs' new multimodal model — one model for image, video, audio, and action prediction. It generates video up to 20 seconds with native audio, and is built on a single Self-Flow architecture where every modality shares one understanding of the scene: the sound matches the impact, the motion follows the prompt.
Is FluxApp affiliated with Black Forest Labs?
No. FluxApp is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Black Forest Labs. We're not a reseller and we don't sell API access — we run an independent waitlist to help creators get notified when FLUX 3 Early Access opens. FLUX and FLUX 3 are trademarks of Black Forest Labs.
When can I actually use FLUX 3?
FLUX 3 Video is already in Early Access through Black Forest Labs and its partners, with FLUX 3 Image and the open-weights FLUX 3 Dev variant planned to follow. We don't control BFL's rollout timeline — join the waitlist and we'll email you the moment access widens to more creators.
Is FLUX 3 free to use? Do I have to pay to join the waitlist?
Joining our waitlist is completely free — we only ask for your email. As for the model itself, Black Forest Labs hasn't published FLUX 3 pricing yet. When official pricing lands, we'll share it with everyone on the list.
How does FLUX 3 compare to Sora, Veo, or Runway?
In Black Forest Labs' preliminary early testing, human evaluators preferred FLUX 3 over Runway Gen-4.5 in 77% and over Luma Ray 3.2 in 93% of head-to-head comparisons (Source: BFL, July 2026). The biggest structural difference: FLUX 3 covers image, video, audio, and action prediction in one model, while most rivals specialize in one or two. These are BFL's own early numbers, though — and against Seedance 2.0 and Gemini the margin was close to even.
What happens to my email if I join the waitlist?
